Warranty

All DI LUCA frame kits and associated parts, with the exception of consumable parts such as dropouts, cable stops, etc., are covered by our warranty program. Are covered by our warranty programme:

3 Years from the date of retail purchase if you complete registration on www.dilucabike.com within 10 days of purchase.
2 Years if you do not complete registration within ten days of purchase or for replacement products under warranty.

DI LUCA BIKE guarantees that the frame, fork, seat post and other parts supplied with the frame are free from manufacturer’s defects and are only applicable to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.

Damage caused by abuse, improper use, improper assembly, rental, inadequate or insufficient maintenance, accidents, shocks, corrosion, use of aggressive cleaning agents, use with non-compatible components, improper repairs and wear and tear are not covered by this warranty.

We reserve the full right to replace defective forks or frames with the nearest available match or with a relevant successor model, at our discretion, or to carry out repairs on them. DI LUCA BIKE does not guarantee any product that has been previously covered or replaced by DI LUCA BIKE. A warranty product, under all circumstances, does not extend the warranty period and/or initiate a new warranty period. These benefits constitute the entire scope of the limited warranty.

In order to avoid any false/fraudulent warranty claims that we have put in place, a buyer pays for the return for inspection policy. After our technicians have inspected the claim and determined that the claim has been approved, we will pay the shipping cost of the repaired / replaced parts and will also reimburse shipping costs upon receipt of proof of payment to a carrier. If the claim is rejected, we will return the frame part at our expense.

The DI LUCA BIKE frame and associated parts have been designed to ISO 4210-6 standard. Any improper use of the road bike, such as carrying passengers/children or additional loads, carrying luggage and attaching parts not specifically designed for the frame will void the warranty.

The cost of replacing other parts and/or components not bearing the DI LUCA logos that may have been damaged or affected by the manufacturer’s defect is not covered by this warranty. Furthermore, the cost of labour and material associated with the replacement of the DI LUCA frame kit and associated parts are not covered by this warranty.

DI LUCA BIKE’s obligations under any warranty shall be limited, to the maximum extent permitted by law, as set forth in DI LUCA BIKE’S LIMITED WARRANTY. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights, which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

All requests must be sent directly to DI LUCA BIKE by email to info@dilucabike.com and must be accompanied by the following information:

  1. Copy of the original receipt showing the buyer’s name, date of purchase.
  2. Photograph showing clearly the serial number under the bottom bracket.
  3. 3-4 photographs showing the defective area.
  4. Photograph of the entire bike left and right side.

The above is the minimum requirement. To ensure a quick resolution of any warranty claim, please ensure that you provide the required information and use a suitable camera in good high resolution lighting conditions.
